Baer is looking for Oracle HCM Security Consultant for a long term project located in Oak Ridge, TN

Title: Oracle HCM Security Consultant

Location: Hybrid - 40-50% travel to Oak Ridge, TN

Duration: 4 tracks, 30-month timeframe based on scope- 2 weeks to onboard. Initial 3-4 months discovery phase

Description:

• Configure and maintain security within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (SaaS), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), and Risk Management Cloud.
• Develop System Security Plan (SSP) packages aligned with NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
• Support security assessments, audits, and the Assessment & Accreditation (A&A) process.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot security issues, ensuring quick resolution of vulnerabilities or breaches.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance and enforce best practices in cloud security.
• Utilize both Oracle-native and third-party tools to enhance the security posture of the cloud environment.
• Provide clear documentation and communicate security protocols effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (security & RBAC), Oracle Risk Management & Compliance (especially Advanced Access Controls) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• NIST 800-53 controls and compliance frameworks
• Strong knowledge of cloud identity and access management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. Citizenship (Mandatory due to data sensitivity)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a form.
