We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support the full medication cycle management for our patients. About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support the full medication cycle management for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full medication cycle, from intake to pharmacist verification.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations regarding PHI and ePHI.
- Provide telephonic follow-up with patients for medication management related to chronic disease support.
- Coordinate delivery logistics for prescribed medications.
- Facilitate communication and transitions to the pharmacist for clinical consultation.
- Maintain accurate patient records via the pharmacy’s computer systems.
- Obtain refill authorizations from prescribers.
- Process and prepare third-party insurance claims.
- Ensure complete and up-to-date patient profiles and documentation.
- Accept, review, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review and final dispensing.
- Answer calls professionally and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Handle patient concerns calmly and escalate when necessary.
- Promote team collaboration, professionalism, and effective communication.
- Comply with company procedures, rules, and state/federal pharmacy regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active Texas (TX) Pharmacy Technician License
- Recent retail pharmacy experience within the past year
- Strong data entry experience in the most recent role
- Stable work history (minimum of 1 year per role preferred)

Pay range and compensation package
Pay Rate: $21/hour
