The Opportunity

Straight Up Collective is seeking a talented and experienced lead photographer with a strong portfolio of cocktail and food photography to join our team. This role requires a mix of on-location and remote work, providing flexibility and exciting growth opportunities. In addition to standard camera, lighting, and photo editing skills, graphic design skills are a major plus. 

Responsibilities

• Capture superior-quality food and beverage photographs; print and digital use
• Photo editing in a fast-paced environment to meet hard deadlines
• Design and bring to life interesting set designs, which show a clear understanding of client brand standards 
• Design visually appealing, on-brand decks to present photography projects
• Collaborate closely across all departments to ensure brand cohesion, alignment with our company’s visual standards, and exceed client expectations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with a primary focus on photography
• Strong portfolio showcasing cocktail and/or food photography 
• Proven success in product photography 
• Mastery of photo-editing software i.e. Photoshop, Lightroom
• Strong understanding of lighting needs across varying environments i.e. studio, on-site 
• Basic knowledge (at a minimum) of graphic design tools i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, Canva
• Highly motivated, organized, and self-driven 
• Excellent communication skills
