Job Description

The Plant Manager provides leadership and oversight across all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality, training, and team development. This role is responsible for managing a blow molding facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality products. The Plant Manager plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting organizational growth, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

• Lead plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily operations of bottling and blow molding lines, ensuring timely production and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs, training programs, and performance plans to build a high-performing team.
• Establish and monitor plant KPIs to track performance against customer and company goals.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and team development initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, maintenance, and quality to support plant-wide objectives.
• Ensure plant cleanliness and readiness for inspections; maintain documentation and compliance with food safety protocols.
• Prepare capital equipment recommendations and lead process improvement projects.
• Lead by example in safety, discipline, and team engagement; foster a culture of accountability and follow-through.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in blow molding technology and food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
• HACCP & SQF certification preferred; IBWA CPO certification a plus.
