Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking an experienced Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Operations Specialist to support their Procurement and Finance teams. This hybrid position is based in San Francisco, CA. Apply Now!!!

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Contract: 6-months (extension possible)

Pay Rate: $50-60/Hour, W2

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor onboarding requests, verify required documentation, and ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Create and update purchase orders in compliance with policy and business requirements.
• Monitor approval queues, resolve exceptions, and manage escalations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding onboarding, POs, and payment timelines.
• Track and document operational issues; escalate systemic problems to the PTP Operations Manager.
• Assist with reporting cycle times, exception rates, and SLA adherence.
• Identify and suggest improvements for recurring process inefficiencies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5+ years in procurement operations, accounts payable, or similar PTP functions.
• Hands-on experience with procure-to-pay systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Zip).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or equivalent tools for operational tracking and reporting.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with travel & expense and corporate card workflows.
• Experience in technology or high-growth environments.
• Understanding of compliance and audit requirements in vendor management and payments.
