Job Description

Position Summary: leading paper converting, packaging, and consumer products company, proudly serving both retail and commercial markets. With a strong portfolio of brands, we bring innovation, quality, and sustainability to everyday products.

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Product Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of our physical product lines, from concept and sourcing through packaging, production, and commercialization. This role bridges marketing, design, and operations to efficiently bring new products to market, ensure quality and compliance, and drive continuous improvement across existing lines. The ideal candidate is a strategic doer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing tangible goods.

  • Manage product development from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and timeline goals.
  • Collaborate with design, sourcing, and operations to develop packaging, specifications, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct market and trend research to identify consumer insights, product gaps, and innovation opportunities.
  • Partner with manufacturing and vendors (domestic and overseas) to manage samples, testing, and production approvals.
  • Track product performance post-launch and recommend improvements, refreshes, or line extensions.
  • Prepare and maintain product documentation for compliance, sustainability, and retailer requirements (e.g., FSC, SFI, UL, etc.).
  • Support marketing and e-commerce teams with product positioning, content, and readiness for retail programs.
  • Communicate updates, timelines, and key performance insights to stakeholders across departments.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience managing physical products in consumer goods, packaging, or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of launching products from concept through production and commercialization.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, and operations).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with major retailers or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Walmart, Amazon, Staples, etc.).
  • Familiarity with sustainability and compliance programs (FSC, SFI, recycled content, UL).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, sourcing, and packaging development.
  • Creative problem-solver who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
