Product Support - Supply Chain

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing safety products that service healthcare, hospitality and food solutions. They are seeking to hire a Product Support Associate within the Supply Chain Department responsible for providing essential support within product development to include project management, technical and administrative support. In this role, you will maintain product records, ensure accurate documentation and manage product samples.

Role reports to an office.

Responsibilities:

• Support projects and business initiatives within product development
• Track and manage projected timelines for projects; update action items for department and prepare status reports
• Maintain product database and records; product details/specifications, documentation (technical data, regulatory standards) and packaging information
• Product database; data entry and ensure accuracy
• Arrange product label creation, review and approval as well as other documents (Instructions for Use, Safety Data Sheets, etc.)
• Oversee and track product samples
• Coordinate lab testing, inspections and evaluation of products
• Support product line extensions and new product launches; collaborate with other departments
• Prepare product briefs, notifications of change, supplier provided updates and distribute accordingly
• Maintain product sample libraries, update libraries and product cross references as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Min. 2+ years of Product Support experience within Global Supply Chain
• Knowledge/Understanding of product specifications and technical information
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines
• Excellent Project Management and Communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel - intermediate to advanced level, PowerPoint)

Offering:

• Base Salary $50,000 - $70,000 (based on experience)
