Job Description

Sonin Beako LLC is seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to be part of the leadership team in Queen City Texas. You will interface with all areas in the plant to implement and drive operational excellence in production. The selected individual will be responsible for production, planning, receiving and shipping departments.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a key member of the leadership team, managing team objectives, and budgets to ensure effective utilization of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Own end-to-end manufacturing processes within production.
• Manages tactical day-to-day production activities to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Drive scheduling and planning meetings to ensure production schedules are met.
• Leads production team through continuous improvement activities.
• Decision Making: Makes major operational decisions to ensure the plant is operating optimally.
• Drives talent development and growth; collaborates with leadership team to assess and evaluate growth opportunities.
• Establish departmental responsibilities.
• Assists with, organizations operations manual and policies.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills.
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
• Clear understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements with a demonstrated approach and methodology for continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical, forecasting, and operating financial management skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and plan manufacturing layouts and processes to drive efficiency improvements.
• Experience with ISO-9001 Quality Management System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Wire harness manufacturing & assembly experience
• Plastic Vacuum Thermoforming experience
• A minimum of 5-years’ experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer.
• Strong manufacturing leadership.
• Operational focus (quality, delivery, cost).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related experience.
• IPC 620 (latest revision)
• U.S. Citizenship status is required
