About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager with experience with plastics in the automotive industry to lead cross-functional teams and manage programs from concept through launch. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful delivery of customer programs on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of program management from initial quotation through production launch and post-launch support
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for program-related activities
  • Develop and maintain program timelines, budgets, and key performance metrics
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing
  • Manage prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
  • Track program risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and industry standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1, 2 or 3 preferred)
  • Strong understanding of automotive product development, APQP, PPAP, and launch processes
  • Proven track record of managing multiple programs simultaneously
  • Ability to manage both new launches and takeover work involving multiple manufacturing processes, plants and teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (MS Project, etc.)
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
