Role Description

Client is seeking a full-time Project Estimator to join our team. In this hybrid role, the Project Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate project estimates, managing costs, and preparing budgets while maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely on occasion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed construction project estimates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
  • Manage project costs and budgets, identifying potential savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to clarify project requirements and expectations.
  • Utilize estimation software and tools to streamline workflows and ensure precision.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Prepare and present cost reports, bid proposals, and financial summaries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and best practices to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in construction estimating and project estimation.
  • Solid understanding of cost management and budgeting practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant estimation and project management software/tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the construction industry, particularly in exterior renovation projects.
  • Familiarity with framing, siding, roofing, and garage door projects is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
