FirstFour Staffing has partnered with a reputable wholesale fencing company that is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee inventory and material procurement operations at their facility in Silverhill, AL . This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in building material supply and a deep understanding of inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing of fencing materials and related supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast future needs based on sales trends and seasonal demands.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory flow and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards in all procurement activities.
• Support budgeting and reporting related to material costs and inventory valuation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of purchasing or inventory management experience, preferably in building material supply.
• Background in the building materials supply industry
• Strong knowledge of building materials, particularly fencing products.
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
