Job Description

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct the search for a Solution Architect on behalf of our client, a well-established IT consulting company. This is a remote position based in Dallas, TX.

Position Overview:

The Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of high-level architecture solutions aligned with strategic business goals. This role is critical to driving innovation, ensuring technology alignment with long-term objectives, and maintaining enterprise architecture standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure technology solutions align with client’s long-term strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Define and manage architecture governance processes and facilitate architectural review boards.
  • Design and validate scalable, secure, and robust architecture for enterprise-level applications and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure architectural compliance and successful project delivery.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and platforms for continuous innovation.
  • Conduct impact assessments and risk analysis for significant architectural or technology changes.
  • Engage proactively with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints and roadmaps.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with microservices and integration patterns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to enterprise environments in industries like financial services, automotive, or similar sectors.

Compensation:

This position offers an annual salary between $120,000-$130,000.
