Lincoln Healthcare has partnered with a healthcare facility, in search of a Risk Management Specialist to join their team outside Knoxville, TN! The Director of Risk Management & Performance Improvement is responsible for leading and overseeing risk management initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant environment. This role focuses on regulatory adherence, patient safety, risk mitigation, and performance enhancement strategies.

Job Details:

Title: Risk Management Specialist

Locations: Outside Knoxville, TN

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address potential risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee incident reporting processes and risk management protocols.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and enhance control systems.
• Lead facility-wide quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and recommend enhancements.
• Work with leadership to optimize patient care and safety measures.
• Provide guidance on risk management, policy development, and compliance.
• Partner with key stakeholders to strengthen risk prevention strategies.
• Manage staff development, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies.
• Support leadership in policy development aligned with safety and compliance goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of risk management experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Required certifications as per facility guidelines; training is available if needed.
• As a facility requirement, all candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting . This experience does not need to be specifically in risk management but must demonstrate familiarity with healthcare environments and operations.
