Sales Representative

Commercial Roofing Contractor

$50-100k basic salary, plus commission OTE $200k, company truck

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts for commercial reroofing and service contracts. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and experienced in the roofing or construction space with a strong drive to close work and build a book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
• Develop proposals and estimates for reroofing projects and service agreements
• Conduct roof assessments and collaborate with estimators and operations to develop tailored solutions for customers
• Present proposals and negotiate contracts with building owners, property managers, and general contractors
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast sales activity
• Cultivate relationships with key clients and provide ongoing support throughout project execution and after
• Track all activities in CRM and stay organized with follow-ups and documentation
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to grow brand presence and leads

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in commercial roofing or construction
• Familiarity with low-slope roofing systems ( Built-up, low slope, single-ply, sheet metal, slate, tile, or asphalt shingle) and/or roof maintenance programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient with CRM tools and basic office software (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Comfortable working independently and in the field
• Valid driver’s license
