Key Responsibilities

• Advise on compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

• Counsel registered investment companies, ETFs, closed-end funds, and advisers

• Handle fund transactions including mergers and reorganizations

• Provide governance support to boards of independent trustees/directors

• Collaborate directly with clients and shareholders on legal and business needs

• Contribute to business development and client retention efforts

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience with registered funds, investment advisers, and fund transactions

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

• Admission in good standing to a U.S. state bar (or actively pursuing admission)

• Deep knowledge of federal securities laws and compliance obligations

• Excellent communication, time management, and drafting skills
