Job Title : Sr. Level Compensation Analyst

Status : Temporary Long-Term Contract

Office Status : Fully Remote

Schedule: 20 to 40 hours per week for first 4 months, then 10 hours per week through end of project

Hourly Compensation : $30.00 per hr

Target End Date : 6/30/2026 (possibility of extension)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform job analysis, job description review, position evaluation, grading, and pricing to ensure internal titling, leveling, and mapping within the company is consistent and salaries are competitive.
  • Prepare compensation recommendations for incumbents and review new hire salaries.
  • Manage detailed position and compensation spreadsheets and data.
  • Prepare and present job evaluation results to management.
  • Load updated salary survey data into CompAnalyst.
  • Participate in salary surveys and monitor salary survey data to ensure AAMC’s compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Prepare data for and participate in national surveys.
  • Develop, recommend, monitor, and maintain salary structures and grading system.
  • Ensure compensation project deadlines are met.
  • Assist with other compensation tasks and projects as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or advanced experience in job evaluation, market-based pay benchmarking, and salary structures.
  • Recent experience with Salary.com data, CompAnalyst and JobArchitect.
  • Experience using Aon Radford, Mercer and Willis Towers Watson salary data and job levels.
  • Proficient with Workday.
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Experience in benchmarking I.T., product services, research, and data positions.
