Job Description

Title: Surgery and Procedure Scheduler

Job Type:  Full-time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours

Location: Flagstaff, AZ

Pay range to start:  Hourly pay based on 40 hrs /week  Commensurate with experience

Job Description:

· Surgery scheduling in clinic for two physicians both in-person and over phone.

· Personally working one-on-one with patients

· Preparing surgery packets

· Ordering pre-surgical testing for patients

· Organizing medical/cardiac/dental clearances

· High volume of phone calls and in person scheduling

· Maintaining/communicating provider surgical schedules

· Other projects/duties as directed

Requirements:

• Medical-office administrative experience REQUIRED

• Surgery or procedure scheduling experience preferred

• Exceptional customer service, communication and critical thinking skills

• Must believe in a patient-centered approach

• Outstanding teamwork attitude

• Excellent interpersonal qualities 

• Work at an efficient and fast pace and thrive in a high intensity environment

• Must be able to multi-task when under pressure

• Must be self-motivated to achieve success 

• Must be highly organized and have exquisite attention to detail

• Must have clear/concise written and verbal communication skills

• Medical office and surgery scheduling experience preferable
