Job Description
A very well-established and highly regarded client in the Boston area is looking for a Tax Attorney joining their dynamic and growing team tax team. The ideal candidate will advise private equity and venture capital funds on middle-market transactions, including M&A, LBOs, growth equity investments, recapitalizations, carve-outs, sales, divestitures, and fund formation and capital raising. This role will be set in a hybrid schedule out of Boston, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise private equity and venture capital funds, as well as their portfolio companies, on a wide range of transactional tax matters.
- Work on M&A and fund formation activities within a sophisticated transactional tax practice.
- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver comprehensive and strategic tax solutions.
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date advice.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of tax experience, ideally in a large law firm.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Massachusetts bar admission or ability to waive into.
- Proven expertise in complex middle-market transactions and transactional tax matters.
- Strong understanding of private equity and venture capital fund structures and operations.
