Trial Litigation Paralegal - Plaintiff Personal Injury
Location: Onsite | Los Angeles, CA (occasional local travel required)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire, or Long-Term Temp
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 annually
Schedule: 40-hour work week
A well-respected plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking a Trial Litigation Paralegal to join their team and support a single, highly complex and emotionally sensitive case.This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned litigation paralegal to contribute meaningfully to a case with significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
Support one complex case involving the death of three young children, representing the father in a high-profile civil lawsuit.
Review and organize sensitive case documents, discovery materials, and client communications.
Prepare trial exhibits, coordinate with experts, and manage deposition logistics.
Work closely with a strong-willed, direct attorney through all phases of trial preparation.
Handle video editing, exhibit preparation, and technology support using TrialPad or TrialDirector.
Occasional travel to Los Angeles for depositions and trial proceedings.
Top Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of California litigation experience with a focus on plaintiff-side personal injury .
Must have hands-on trial experience , including managing trial prep and meeting tight deadlines.
Comfortable working exclusively on one complex, emotionally intense case.
Associate's or bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate required.
Ability to manage and review highly sensitive and potentially traumatic materials.
Familiarity with TrialPad, TrialDirector , and video editing software is strongly preferred.

The role has been open for 3 weeks; previous candidates either lacked long-term interest in a single case or had conflicting commitments.
The attorney is highly experienced and direct in communication style.
