Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a global e-commerce organization in search of a UX Designer to join their team for a new contract in Seattle, WA. As a UX Designer, you will apply your expertise to craft innovative, user-friendly, and engaging shopping experiences. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to drive impactful design solutions that elevate the customer journey.

Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)

Pay Rate: $50-52/hour

Contract Duration: 6 months w/ potential for extension

Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop prototypes and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Create intuitive customer experiences for product discovery, comparison, purchase, and management using advanced conversational interfaces.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, while aligning UX strategies with business goals.
  • Refine design patterns, establish UX design standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Translate quantitative data, qualitative insights, and technical considerations into actionable design solutions.
  • Lead discussions and presentations to promote customer-centric decisions within leadership and project teams.
  • Collaborate with a team of six other UX and voice designers in brainstorming, critiques, and design studios.
  • Build and iterate on designs while presenting solutions to stakeholders and leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a UX Designer or Interaction Designer.
  • Proven experience designing for web and mobile applications, with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end, user-centered design solutions.
  • Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and prototyping using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or Ajax.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
