Job Description

Job Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a talented and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our client’s team in the medical device industry. This role will focus on designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that support healthcare professionals and patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing both UX strategy and UI design, with a passion for solving complex problems through elegant design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and clinical experts to define user needs and translate them into design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on feedback.
  • Ensure designs align with accessibility standards and regulatory requirements in the healthcare space.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems and style guides.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a regulated industry such as healthcare or medical devices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with FDA or ISO standards related to medical software.
  • Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
