Job Description

Looking to lead warehouse operations for a fast-growing, tech-enabled manufacturing company? We’re hiring a Warehouse Manager to oversee shipping, receiving, safety, and facility operations in a dynamic environment that supports some of the country’s top food and beverage brands. If you’re process-driven, safety-focused, and ready to lead a high-performing team—this could be your next move.

Our client is a rapidly expanding national industrial automation company that leverages robotics, mobility, and software to deliver packaging and assembly solutions to leading names in the food and beverage industry. With a network of both permanent and mobile manufacturing facilities across the U.S., the company runs high-speed automated lines that support a range of packaging types—from registered shrink film to top- and side-loaded cartons—while incorporating cutting-edge robotics into the process.

Their team is made up of industry veterans with deep operational expertise, and their customer base includes nationally recognized manufacturers, distributors, and Fortune 500 brands.

The Warehouse Manager plays a key leadership role in facility operations and is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all shipping, receiving, facility maintenance, and compliance-related activities. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and system integrity across TMS, WMS, and ERP platforms. Additionally, the role is critical in maintaining industry certifications such as SQF and HACCP and leading quality and safety practices on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy and timely documentation
  • Manage dock scheduling and customer appointments via the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Coordinate priorities with the Capacity Planner and Commercial Team
  • Ensure clerks and supervisors follow SOPs and safety protocols (e.g., trailer inspections, wheel chocking)
  • Enter POs and BOLs into ERP system (NetSuite) after unload verification
  • Lead automated BOL processes for all outbound shipments
  • Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify documentation (lot codes, expiration dates, etc.)
  • Upload BOLs to corresponding records in ERP
  • Develop, monitor, and report warehouse KPIs
  • Schedule, coach, and train forklift operators
  • Oversee and maintain warehouse equipment and facility assets
  • Keep production, warehouse, and office areas clean and operational
  • Serve as SQF Practitioner and HACCP Team Lead (certifications required or to be obtained)
  • Act as point of contact for audits and certifications (e.g., Organic, Kosher)
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and forklift certification for all operators
  • Lead training on safety, quality, and compliance protocols
  • Maintain system data integrity across TMS, WMS, and ERP systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Plant Director

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in warehouse/logistics management, preferably in a high-volume or automated environment
  • Experience with TMS, WMS, and ERP systems; NetSuite strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, SQF, HACCP, and warehouse safety standards
  • Proven team leadership and coaching experience
  • Skilled in equipment and facility maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain): SQF Practitioner, HACCP, Forklift Trainer

Physical Demands

Work is performed in a warehouse environment subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations. Must be able to stand for extended periods and move throughout the facility. Regularly required to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, walking, kneeling, and equipment operation required. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

We are actively interviewing for this role, if you are interested please apply and/or reach out to michelle.mccollough@lead3r.com
