Sparks Group, in collaboration with a Fortune 500 federal contractor client, is searching for a skilled Associate Contract Manager to serve as a contract management expert, providing guidance and support to project teams and business units. The Assoc. Contract Manager will ensure compliance with contract obligations, identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement effective contract management processes. Responsibilities :

• Provide on-site contract management and compliance advice.
• Track and monitor contract changes, deliverables, and risks.
• Ensure contract management aligns with company policies, laws, and customer requirements.
• Respond to complex contract inquiries and identify risks.
• Review and manage contractual obligations to ensure compliance.
• Communicate contract status, compliance, and modifications.
• Escalate unresolved contract issues to leadership.
• Implement contract management processes.
• Serve as a liaison between project teams, business units, and legal.
• Inform project teams of contract requirements and monitor compliance.
• Develop and integrate contract management tools and processes.

Qualifications/Background Profile :

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of contract management experience, including 3 years in federal government contracting.
• Understanding of US federal contracting principles, FAR, and DFARS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with public safety agencies, advanced degree, familiarity with VAARS, and specialized subject matter expertise.
• This position requires U.S. Citizenship
