Overview

We are seeking a seasoned beverage operations leader to mix creativity with efficiency.

Our high-volume catering venue and restaurant in rural Texas needs someone who can oversee multiple bars and event beverage services, from crafting cocktail, beer, and wine programs to managing inventory, cost control, and staff scheduling. This role works closely with our culinary and events teams to ensure every guest experience is served with top-notch drinks and polished service. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of beverage/bar management experience (preferably in full-service or high-volume settings) and a deep knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.

You’ll set the bar high on quality and consistency, maintaining a clear head and high standards of professionalism in a client facing, spirited environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily beverage operations across all bars and event spaces, ensuring consistency in drink quality and service.
  • Develop and maintain creative cocktail menus, wine lists, beer and spirits offerings that match our brand and delight guests.
  • Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and cost control; work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule bartenders and barbacks; foster a team culture focused on hospitality, skill, and efficiency.
  • Oversee all beverage services at catering events and in-restaurant service, including mobile bars and drink station setups.
  • Collaborate with our culinary and events teams to craft drink pairings and special beverage packages for catering and in-restaurant events.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local and state alcohol service regulations and company policies; maintain a safe, professional, and hospitable environment.

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of beverage or bar management experience, preferably in full-service restaurants, bars, or high-volume event venues.
  • Deep knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits; sommelier or cicerone certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Proven operational skills: inventory management, cost control, budgeting, staff scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; experience hiring, training, and mentoring bar staff.
  • Passion for hospitality and keen attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment; flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) is required.
  • Exemplary personal and professional integrity standards. A willingness to lead, by example, practical maintenance of the highest standards of professionalism and responsible conduct in an alcohol-centric environment

Compensation and Perks
  • Salary range: $60,000–$100,000 base + commission (commensurate with experience).
