Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Bobcat Operator / Asphalt Grade Crew Foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL-A license and have experience operating skid steer (Bobcat) machinery with various attachments. This role also requires strong leadership to supervise a small crew (1–3 employees) and ensure safety and efficiency on job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Bobcat skid steer loaders with various attachments including forks, bucket, and grader with efficiency and precision

• Lead, supervise, and support a small crew of 1–3 employees to meet daily job site objectives

• Monitor team members to ensure compliance with company safety policies and best practices

• Oversee grading and excavation operations to ensure proper site preparation for asphalt work

• Communicate with site supervisors to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines

• Conduct basic daily equipment checks and maintenance to ensure operational safety

• Maintain clean and organized job sites

• Assist with other duties as needed related to grading and asphalt site preparation

Qualifications:

• CDL Class A License – Required and current

• Proven experience operating skid steer (Bobcat) equipment with attachments

• Prior experience in grading and/or excavation required

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Knowledge of job site safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Ability to read grade stakes or use laser levels is a plus

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
