Position Overview:

As our growing small business expands, we seek a skilled  E-commerce Manager to bring our messaging to life. This role requires a deep understanding of Shopify, graphic design, and consumer habits. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for design, denim, and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • E-Commerce Strategy & Execution
  • Lead day-to-day management of the e-commerce site (Shopify Plus), including merchandising, homepage updates, content scheduling, and weekly product launches.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow online revenue, improve site performance, and reduce cart abandonment.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing platforms to identify friction points and optimize the user experience.
  • Implement and analyze A/B tests to improve key KPIs (conversion rate, average order value, bounce rate, etc.).
  • Product Merchandising & Launches
  • Oversee site merchandising strategy with an eye on seasonal trends, performance data, and storytelling.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product launches.
  • Platform Management
  • Own all things Shopify—including apps, plugins, product uploads, page creation, tagging, and inventory visibility.
  • Work with developers/designers on front-end site updates, ensuring mobile-first, UX-optimized design.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on e-commerce KPIs, channel performance, and customer behavior.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting with insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborative Initiatives
  • Partner with the creative team on digital campaigns, landing pages, and promotions.
  • Work with our social team to see if any graphic design imagery is needed for our story platforms.
  • Collaborate with our design team on weekly launch strategy.
  • Graphic Design 
  • Create unique web and mobile banners correlating to campaign drops, product releases, and seasonal sales. 
  • Design corresponding media for social media stories, email imagery, and ad objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce management, ideally with a DTC fashion or lifestyle brand.
  • Deep knowledge of Shopify (Plus), Klaviyo, Google Analytics
  • Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, motion graphics, or other video editing platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics that aligns with our brand.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Passion for fashion, style, and the DTC space is a major plus.
