Role Description

The Field Clinical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the PatenSee clinical trials at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit. This role involves working closely with the clinical team, supporting patient screening and enrollment, actively operating an imaging device within a clinical trial, and ensuring data is collected accurately. The technician will provide technical support and basic troubleshooting. This position offers an opportunity for close interaction with both technical and clinical aspects of a dialysis clinic.

Anticipate 10-20 hours per week, staggered over 2 or 3 days.

Qualifications

• Technical approach, with the ability to troubleshoot simple technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clinical staff and patients.
• Experience in MedTech clinical trials, particularly if related to vascular access is an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a dialysis clinic.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a proactive and highly flexible approach to work.
• Proximity to Henry Ford Second Avenue Dialysis Clinic – an advantage
