About the Role:

Are you a seasoned professional in labor relations or HR looking to make a significant impact? Join our client, one of the largest family-owned retail companies in California, as a Labor Relations Manager. In this pivotal role, you will plan, manage, and oversee labor relations processes and programs, providing expert advice and counsel to stakeholders. You will also develop and conduct training programs to support our labor relations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage labor relations programs and processes.
• Provide advice and counsel on labor relations issues to stakeholders.
• Develop and conduct training programs in support of labor relations.
• Ensure compliance with current labor relations and human resources practices, including regulatory requirements.
• Implement and administer HR programs and policies that strategically support the company’s mission and goals.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in labor relations or as an HR generalist.
• Background in grocery, retail, or distribution.
• Experience working with union representatives.
• Knowledge of labor law and collective bargaining trends.

Annual Compensation:

$85,000 - $117,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
