Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document & Case Management:
  • Manage legal documentation, filings, and correspondence with precision and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and organize legal records, case files, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of immigration forms and related paperwork.
  • Scheduling & Coordination:
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, client consultations, court hearings, and legal deadlines.
  • Monitor and track key dates and timelines for ongoing cases.
  • Client & Court Liaison:
  • Act as a professional point of contact between attorneys, clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Provide regular updates and assistance to clients as directed by attorneys.
  • Attorney Support:
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, basic legal research, and administrative follow-up.
  • Organize materials for hearings and interviews, and ensure documentation is complete and accessible.
  • Billing & Financial Tracking:
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and tracking legal expenses.
  • Work with accounting to ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely client invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a legal administrative role – required .
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and immigration law processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive legal information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management software (e.g., Clio, LawLogix, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an immigration law firm or related legal field.
  • Bilingual abilities (Hindi.) a plus.
