Job Description

SCAD Savannah is seeking a visionary full-time professor of advertising and branding who can empower students to revolutionize the future of advertising through creative technology and design. This role is at the forefront of the industry, shaping the next generation of advertising professionals.

This role is perfect for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual with expertise in AI, VR, XR, motion graphics, video, and cutting-edge content creation. As a creative director with a strong foundation in technology, design, and concept development, you will guide the next generation of students to push the boundaries of what’s possible in advertising.

With access to state-of-the-art environments and innovative tools, SCAD offers an unmatched platform for students to prepare for careers at the intersection of technology and creativity in advertising and branding.

As a professor, you’ll teach the fundamentals of design and inspire students to innovate and experiment with emerging technologies. Your ability to simulate brand experiences that transcend the physical world will be crucial in helping students envision and create the future of branding. A deep understanding of advertising, branding, and interactive design and hands-on experience in professional-level visual art and design production are essential. You’ll bring advanced knowledge of the latest platforms and technologies, empowering students to navigate and influence the evolving landscape of advertising and branding.

SCAD Savannah, a distinguished institution and one of TIME magazine’s “World’s Greatest Places 2021,” offers a vibrant, culturally rich environment that serves as a living laboratory for art and design. The city’s inviting climate and dynamic downtown enhance the educational experience, providing students, faculty, and staff with a layered and inspiring learning environment.
