Tailor on Tap is seeking passionate and motivated Style Consultants to join our team in the Washington D.C. area. Our clientele ranges from high school and college students seeking their first custom suit to corporate leaders looking to offer tailored clothing solutions to their teams.

About the Job:

We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded, service-oriented sales professionals who are driven to build their own clientele and spearhead our growth in the Virginia and Washington D.C. markets. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities for Style Consultants based out of our Tysons Corner, Virginia showroom.

Our ideal candidates are sales or marketing professionals with a keen interest in helping clients create clothing that reflects their individual style. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining your own book of clients through effective prospecting and networking, enabling you to cultivate long-term, loyal relationships.

What You Will Do:

• Build and maintain a robust book of clients through proactive sales, marketing, and prospecting efforts (outreach, events, etc.)
• Set appointments and meet with clients in our showroom, virtually, or in their homes/offices to conduct personalized wardrobe planning for both casual and professional looks.
• Guide clients through our custom experience, helping them choose fabrics, customizations, and every detail that goes into creating their bespoke garments.
• Develop strong relationships with clients from their first interaction with Tailor on Tap through purchase, delivery, and ongoing orders.

We Are Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurial Studies, or a related field.
• Direct sales experience with a creative and strategic approach (preferred).
• Excellent client relationship skills, with experience in new business development and client-facing roles.
• A strong network of potential clients is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
• World-class communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal.
• Independent decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to network.
• A passion for the custom clothing industry and creating confidence through fashion.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
