ALLInBio is developing a precision immunology approach that allows the selection and early treatment of "at-risk" patient populations that are genetically predisposed to rapidly progress and develop severe disease. Through this approach, we will shift patient care in chronic inflammation from treating symptoms to addressing the root cause of disease.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Principal Scientist with a strong background in Inflammation and Cell Biology and prior drug discovery experience in developing cell-based assays and in vivo pharmacology. This position will be asked to contribute to target discovery, pharmacology, and IND-enabling studies for ALLInBio programs. A rich understanding of the principles of drug development and experience on project teams spanning the phases of early drug discovery is required.

The ideal candidate is an individual that enjoys a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to achieve project goals and objectives. Ability to thrive in an environment where parallel workstreams are pursued to enable rapid decision making is a must.

• Direct experience with establishing cell-based assays for screening and mechanism of action as well as designing in vivo pharmacology studies. Prior experience working with CROs to achieve timely positive outcomes is a must. Program leadership experience is desired.

• Experience in early drug discovery with a proven record of contributing to clinical candidate selection and advancing programs through discovery, IND-enabling studies, and IND filings are required.

• Direct experience working with Inflammation and cell biology targets and molecular pathways is required. Immunology, bone biology, or neuro-inflammation background a plus.

• Demonstrable ability and enthusiasm for identifying, setting, and meeting critical deliverables and delivering clinical candidates into development

• Self-starter with strong scientific curiosity and rigor, excellent interpersonal and analytic skills, high ethical standards, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• A desire to be part of a highly innovative, dynamic, and growing company aimed at developing novel therapeutics for patients

• MS degree with 10 or more years experience or PhD with 7 or more years experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the field of inflammation and auto-immune diseases
