Job Title: Product Designer IV

Location: Burlingame, CA/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must-Have Skills

1. Demonstrated proficiency in mobile design (iOS and Android)

2. 4+ years of industry experience designing software products, improving design system

3. Experience working Experience utilizing research and data to drive product strategy and decision making in a technical environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Experience interfacing with hardware from the software side is a plus

2. Anything involving connectivity Degrees/Certifications Bachelor’s in design programs or a related field Day-to-Day Responsibilities

● Understanding capabilities and constraints of our device hardware and mobile OS platforms. Work creatively with Product and Engineering XFNs to deliver pairing and feature onboarding steps that are easy to understand and delightful to use for everyone consumers.

● Working with Content Design and Privacy teams to help customers understand their control in privacy and data sharing.

● Working with Marketing Team(s) to incorporate design assets that are compatible with our partners’ and Meta’s brands.

● Rapidly iterating solutions based on customer, UXR and internal feedback

Minimum qualifications

● 4+ years of industry experience designing software products.

● Experience working in a technical environment.

● Experience utilizing research and data to drive product strategy and decision making.

● A portfolio of work that demonstrates a breadth of user experience, interaction and visual design skills.

About the role Meta View is our companion app for our wearables like Ray-Ban | Meta. We are looking for a product Designer to craft delightful and scalable device setup experiences for the app. You will partner with our dynamic teams in Product, Front-end Engineering, Content Design, Packaging Design, User Research (UXR), Device Connectivity, Privacy and Marketing, to ensure customers are successful and excited in setting up their brand-new devices and features.

What you’ll be responsible for :
