Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Construction industry, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX . This is a hands-on, onsite role that will focus on electrical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and controls for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and other industry regulations .
• Lead projects involving electrical upgrades, system integration, and new equipment installation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, production managers, and maintenance teams .
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, technical documentation, and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with capital projects, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Train maintenance personnel on electrical troubleshooting and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE License
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems .
• Experience with motor controls, VFDs, power systems, and instrumentation .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software .
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
