Key Responsibilities
Communicate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) to schedule pickups and resolve shipping issues.
Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide training as needed.
Coordinate and process daily shipping orders.
Stage completed orders and load outbound trucks.
Follow detailed customer routing guides and meet tight shipping deadlines.
Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively.
Collaborate with distribution center and customer service teams.
Process various shipping methods (UPS, USPS, DHL, FedEx, LTL).
Support and guide team members, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
Report safety concerns to management and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Assist with projects assigned by the Logistics Distribution Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping or logistics.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.
Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership and team coordination abilities.
Experience with forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Education & Experience
High school diploma required; college education preferred.
Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience with shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, ERP systems).
Previous experience in the apparel industry is a plus.
