Key Responsibilities:

We're seeking an experienced Contracts and Compliance Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this vital role, you'll be instrumental in safeguarding our business through robust contract management and comprehensive compliance oversight.

Contract Management:

  • Lead the drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and align with company policies.
  • Review contract language for compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Ensure contracts are properly archived and tracked.
  • Communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams on contract-related matters.

Compliance Oversight:

  • Monitor adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal company policies.
  • Develop and implement company compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with export regulations.
  • Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Provide guidance to other operational staff on compliance-related matters.

Risk Mitigation:

  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to contracts and compliance, including legal exposures and potential penalties.
  • Work with internal legal teams and external legal counsel as needed.

Contract Administration:

  • Manage all contract records, track performance, and ensure timely fulfillment of obligations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all contract obligations.

Audits and Reporting:

  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance effectiveness.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on key compliance metrics.

Training and Education:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compliance training programs.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously identify and implement improvements in our contract management and compliance processes.
