  • Oversee the processing of orders for assigned countries and product portfolios while ensuring timeliness and compliance.
  • Stay up to date with all applicable import/export regulations through ongoing training and self-directed initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and provide training for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your assigned portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international divisions to identify and implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for foreign customers/partners, ensuring smooth communication and management of global trade accounts.
  • Conduct training on import/export operations processes as needed.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned business unit and foster a strong understanding of Bayer’s product portfolio and production processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Commerce, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business, supply chain, international commerce, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of import/export procedures, trade compliance, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory agencies, such as APHIS, Customs and Border Protection, USDA, and other governmental standards.
  • Proficiency with data systems like MS Office Suite, ACE, SAP, GTS, Amber Road, and OneSource (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary to meet operational demands.
  • Strong project management and deadline management skills, with a focus on detail and analytical problem-solving.
  • Previous experience with agricultural and/or chemical products (preferred).

Additional Information:

  • You will be responsible for handling complex logistics tasks and collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials.
  • This role requires the ability to balance multiple priorities and uphold high standards of compliance in a fast-paced environment.
