Full-Time Temporary Nanny
San Francisco, CA | $28–35/hr | 3-Month-Old Infant

A professional household in San Francisco is seeking a part-time temporary nanny for the month of July to assist with the care of their healthy 3-month-old daughter. One parent works in a hospital setting with rotating day, night, and weekend shifts, while the other works remotely from home. The nanny will provide daytime care that matches the clinical schedule, which is confirmed and shared weekly. 

Start : ASAP
Compensation : $28–$35 per hour (DOE)
Hours : Full-time based on clinical schedule, will be a combination of day and night shifts. There will never be two shifts in a row. 

The schedule below reflects current anticipated needs. Exact shifts will be confirmed weekly and may vary slightly. Overnights are about 1 a week.

Week of July 7–13

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• PM
• Tuesday: Evening shift transitions to overnight nanny
• Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Week of July 14–20

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: Evening shift transitions to overnight nanny
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Week of July 21–27

• Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Tuesday includes overnight handoff)
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Week of July 28–31

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:30

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, responsive, and developmentally appropriate care for a 3-month-old infant
• Maintain baby’s routine, including bottle feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervised wake time
• Track feeding and sleep patterns as requested
• Clean and tidy infant-related areas after use
• Communicate clearly and consistently with parents

Requirements

• TrustLine Background Check
• Minimum 3 years of recent newborn or infant experience
• Strong knowledge of infant care, including bottle feeding, swaddling, and sleep routines
• Infant CPR and First Aid certification required
• Proof of Tdap and COVID-19 vaccination required
• Comfortable working in a home with two indoor cats
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
• No driving required; the home is easily accessible by public transportation
• Must have U/S work authorization
• Provide 3-5 professional references
