Social Content Producer

FitXR is a fitness technology company working at the cutting edge of VR and MR, building a movement for movement.

We started life in 2016 in a garden shed in the UK. Today, we’re building FitXR, one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store. We’ve raised close to $30m from top investors such as Maveron, Hiro, and BoostVC.

Job Title: Social Content Producer

Summary:

We’re hiring a Social Content Producer to stand up a hot-off-the-press brand strategy through a completely revamped social media presence. We're on a mission to build connections with people who want to be healthy but hate the whole traditional fitness scene and see themselves as a misfit. Social is a priority channel for us to break through, and as such you'll help develop the social voice of our brand while building and nurturing our communities. We need someone who understands the current fitness landscape, but is motivated to shake it all up.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy driver: Craft and experiment with social-first strategies that help develop and amplify the brand voice across existing and new platforms. Bring a strong POV of where to prioritize and what to avoid all together with our target audience at the forefront of your mind.

2. Be the trendsetter: Follow the trends, but set out to lead the pack. Cook up high-quality, innovative, native content that puts FitXR on the map. Convince us to take calculated risks and build high trust by proving it can work.

3. Community Catalyst: Create strategies to grow and nurture our existing community while attracting new users who vibe with our brand's mission.

4. Production Owner: Run the social creative pipeline, which may often only include yourself. Bring or build a rolodex of creators that set you up for success.


Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in brand content creation with either a proven case study of brand building OR a clearly demonstrated knack for breakthrough social storytelling.

- A strong passion for fitness and technology (VR/AR space is a bonus).

- Deep understanding of social best practices (and thoughts for how to break them)

- Highly organized, self-sufficient, and resourceful by nature

- Data-driven approach, with experience defining and analyzing key metrics

Logistics

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:

  • Hiring Manager / technical interview

  • Founder / Exec Interview
